Marco has over twenty-five years experience in the Entertainment industry. Beginning his career as a Toronto club DJ, he gained residencies at hot spots best-known for their roots in the electronic music scene. He mastered his craft for over a decade, DJing and MCing private social and corporate events, becoming Sales Director for a large entertainment company. Marco created Black Book Events on the belief that a company should run with honesty, integrity, and transparency — and always with his clients’ best interests at heart.
Fun Facts: Marco is an OG who can still play on vinyl – and, yes, beat match without a computer. His idols are Mark Farina and Daft Punk.
Tania graduated from Humber College with a Marketing Diploma and a postgrad in Communications from U of T Continuing Studies. She worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist for a large, publicly-traded, cannabis company. She describes the experience as Wolf of Wall Street-esque… but with weed.
Fun Facts: Tania worked at SOCAN, collecting and distributing music royalties to Canadian artists. She takes Bollywood dance classes, and she rocks out to Dj Raphi with her two boys in her spare time. Tania has never seen The Notebook.
Kristina managed several restaurant chain locations including Moxies, The Keg and Hooters (yes Hooters). Known and loved for her bubbly personality, she worked as a brand ambassador and promotional model for Grey Goose and Moosehead. Kristina joined the sales team at Milwaukee selling power tools (yes power tools) to various retail chains.
Fun Facts: Kristina was a Jr. Argos Cheerleader. She was also Rookie of the Year at Seneca for Varsity Soccer.
